Child Neurology Society to hold scientific gab
MANILA, Philippines - The Child Neurology Society of the Philippines (CNSP) will be holding its seventh Biennial Scientific Convention entitled “New Dimensions in Childhood Brain Disorders: Stroke, Metabolic, and Demyelinating Diseases” at the Hyatt Hotel and Casino in Manila from Oct. 17 to 19.
Topics to be discussed in the convention include the diagnosis and management of acute stroke in the Philippine setting, the approach to the diagnosis and treatment of neurometabolic disorders causing global developmental delay, neuroimaging in neurometabolic and demyelinating diseases, and other subjects relating to stroke, metabolic and demyelinating diseases.
“As doctors involved in the care of infants and children, we are always faced with one or two difficult cases which may require special examinations and consultations,” said Dr. Madeleine Grace Sosa, CNSP president.
