Pastor carjacked at SLEX gas station
MANILA, Philippines - Five unidentified men carjacked the vehicle of a religious leader at a gasoline station along the South Luzon Expressway in Laguna province Wednesday.
In a text message, Southern Police District spokesman Jenny Tecson said the victim, initially identified as Pastor Caleb Dignadice, was at the Total gas station near the San Pedro Exit at about 5:30 p.m. when the suspects took his black Isuzu Highlander (WHR-557).
Tecson said the suspects took the car with Dignadice still onboard and dropped him off on a poorly lit stretch of C-6 Road in Taguig City about an hour after the carjacking.
Taguig anti-carjacking personnel have already conducted an operation to recover Dignadice’s vehicle, Inspector Rey Ibon, chief of Taguig Ancar Unit, told The STAR.
