ZAMBOANGA CITY , Philippines – The military turned over a total of P1.9 million in rewards to three informants yesterday for helping government troops arrest three ranking communist leaders last year.
Lt. Gen. Ben Dolorfino, Western Mindanao Command commander, handed over the rewards to the three informants who were clad in jackets, ski masks and sunglasses to conceal their identities for security reasons.
The three provided information leading to the arrest of communist leaders Declard Cangmaong in Angono, Rizal; Narciso Ramo in Oroquieta City; and Arnold Lamban in Pagadian City.
