Quiboloy accepts Noynoy's apology

DAVAO CITY , Philippines  – Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name has already accepted the apology of Senator and Liberal Party standard-bearer Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III for not showing up in last Tuesday’s presidential forum which the Davao City-based congregation sponsored.

Aquino was accompanied by his running mate Sen. Manuel “Mar” Roxas and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and banana magnate Jesus Ayala in the meeting with Quiboloy at around 5:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Quiboloy reportedly said he accepted Aquino’s apology and that he was glad that the senator was given the chance to air his side.

The pastor was visibly irked by Aquino’s absence in the said presidential forum and even went to the extent of saying that the senator has “no word, no honor” for not fulfilling his earlier commitment of attending the event.

Quiboloy emphasized that it was Aquino himself who chose March 9 as the schedule of the presidential forum after moving it from its original date of Feb. 9.       – Edith Regalado
