LEGAZPI CITY , Philippines – An aide of Oas, Albay Mayor Gregorio Ricarte was gunned down by two motorcycle-riding men while cruising Barangay Ilaor Sur also on his motorcycle yesterday, authorities said.
Senior Superintendent William Macavinta, Albay police director, said they still have to do a background check on the victim, Floserpido Parones, 34, who also worked as a contractual employee of the Oas municipal government, to establish the possible motives behind his killing. – Cet Dematera
