Carjacking group turns to hijacking; 2 members nabbed

MALOLOS CITY , Philippines – A notorious carjacking syndicate operating in Central Luzon and nearby areas has shifted to hijacking, police said.
This, as combined police elements arrested two members of the Dominguez group in Marilao, Bulacan last week when they tried to sell cooking oil in a tanker truck that was hijacked last Nov. 27 on the South Luzon Expressway.
Arrested were Randy Ocanada, 31, and Raymond Lopez, 24. The group’s leader, a certain Raymond Dominguez, eluded arrest. – Dino Balabo
