Suspected drug pushers nabbed in Bataan

-

BALANGA CITY, Philippines – Police arrested yesterday two men allegedly selling two grams of high-grade “shabu” with a street value of P200,000 to an undercover police officer in the fishing village of Calaylayan in Abucay town.

Bataan police director Senior Superintendent Manuel Gaerlan said Felix Villaruz, 34, and Ariel Sevilla, 35, were arrested by police officers and agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Villaruz and Sevilla reportedly received marked money during the drug bust. Team leader SPO4 Gregorio Gonzaga said they recovered from Sevilla two medium-size tea bags and five plastic sachets of shabu.

The Bataan police crime laboratory identified the shabu as “high-grade.”

Villaruz and Sevilla, who are confined at the Bataan Provincial Jail, will be charged with illegal possession and drug pushing before the Provincial Prosecutors’ Office. – Raffy Viray
