German charged for coercion

Lucena City , Philippines  – A German national and his two companions were charged of coercion, disobedience and unjust vexation by five members of the Lucena City police after the latter displayed bad manners in front of the uniformed policemen at the police station.

According to reports, the suspect Ton Van Eeden Teunis from Holland and his wife Juliet Rodriguez and friend Liwayway de Mesa, all of Lucena City arrived at the police station around 12:15 p.m. to ask about their houseboy who was in jail after making trouble at one of the videoke bars here.

According to the complainant SPO3 Josue Aguilar, PO3 Edwin Quesea, PO2 Noel Diocos and PO2 Miljun Magadia, they were attending to the query of said Teunis when he began uttering unsavory remarks against the cops and wiggled his buttocks, showed dirty finger sign and twisting his tongue.

The suspect also took pictures of every policeman who tried to pacify him. According to Diocos, he asked Teunis to stop because civilians were looking, but he did not.

The policemen also filed charges against his two companions for being rude and saying negative remarks against the policemen. – Michelle Zoleta
