CLARK FREEPORT, Philippines – The Clark Development Corp. (CDC) and an Australian firm have signed a lease agreement for the establishment of an educational facility dubbed Clark Education City at the Clark Expo here.
CDC president Benigno Ricafort said the state-owned corporation has signed a lease agreement with Australian International Training and Management Group Pty Ltd. last week at the CDC corporate headquarters.
Ricafort said the Australian firm will put up a $6-million educational facility that will offer vocational courses with Australian certification in the fields of hotel and restaurant management, plumbing, refrigeration and air-conditioning, electrical, auto-mechanical and construction.
Hs said the courses will be offered to foreign students from Korea, India, Nepal, China, Taiwan and other countries.
Ricafort said the facility is expected to be completed by next year.
