11 injured in NLEX mishap

-

MALOLOS CITY , Philippines  – Eleven people were injured when a bus flipped on its right side along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in Bocaue, Bulacan yesterday morning.

This came two days after the Tollways Management Corp. (TMC), which manages the NLEX, advised motorists to take extra care in preparation for the All Saints’ Day weekend.

In an initial report, Superintendent Ronald de Jesus, Bocaue police chief, said a BBTSC bus bound for Sapang Palay in San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan rammed steel railings on northbound lane of NLEX before flipping on its right side.         – Dino Balabo
