ANGELES CITY , Philippines – Central Luzon police director Chief Superintendent Leon Nilo de la Cruz relieved yesterday this city’s police chief amid the rising number of unsolved killings and other crimes.
“I just don’t like the growing number of unsolved crimes anymore,” De la Cruz told The STAR, following the shooting of a Customs officer at the Clark Freeport and the theft of a van in Barangay Sto. Rosario last Sunday.
Senior Superintendent Pierre Bucsit was replaced by Senior Superintendent Dan Bautista, who used to be the head of the personnel department of the Central Luzon police based at Camp Olivas in the City of San Fernando. – Ding Cervantes, Ric Sapnu
