Informer gets P300,000 reward

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga , Philippines  – A civilian whose information led to the arrest last March of Nueva Ecija’s most wanted criminal finally received the other day a P300,000 reward from Chief Superintendent Leon Nilo de la Cruz, Central Luzon police director, at Camp Olivas here.

Thanks to the informer’s “reliable information,” De la Cruz said police arrested Vicente Fernando Jr., who is facing charges of attempted murder, in Barangay Consuelo Sur, San Antonio, Zambales.         – Ding Cervantes
