7 hurt in LPG station blast

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – At least seven people were hurt after a refilling station of liquefied petroleum gas in Abucay, Bataan caught fire after an explosion last Friday night.

In a report, Senior Superintendent Manuel Gaerlan, Bataan police director, said the victims – six of them identified as Orlando Gumila, 38; Efren Mora, 41, and his nephew Ecel Mora, 24; Jun-Jun Ramos, 29; Benjamin Ponesto, 72; and Romeo Valencia, 49 – suffered serious burns on their faces and other parts of the body. – Ric Sapnu, Cecille Suerte Felipe
