Dagupan cops seize 30 grams of shabu

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – Elements of the local police here seized 30 grams of shabu (metamphetamine hydrochloride) Friday night from a suspected drug personality here who is under the police watchlist.

Superintendent Mariano Luis Verzosa, police chief here, identified the arrested person as Alberto Ortiz alias Kitz from Sitio Aling, Arellano St. here.

Seized inside his room by police elements who conducted the raid by virtue of a search warrant were five big heat-sealed plastic sachets with 25 grams of shabu worth P100,000 and another 60 small heat-sealed grams of plastic sachets with five grams of shabu worth about P40,000, lighter, scissors and other paraphernalia.

Verzosa presented to Philippine National Police chief Director General Jesus Verzosa in his visit to the provincial police office in Lingayen, Pangasinan yesterday the seized items. – Eva Visperas, Cesar Ramirez
