PNP to Nograles: Share information on Davao City slays

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine National Police chief Director General Jesus Versoza urged Speaker Prospero Nograles yesterday to cooperate with police in the investigation into a vigilante group blamed for the rash of killings of suspected criminal elements in Davao City.

Versoza said Nograles could share information and provide evidence to help in the speedy resolution of these cases.

“With more leads to work on and more evidence to establish a strong case, I am confident that we can achieve a major breakthrough in the investigation very soon,” he said.

“From what we have been hearing from Speaker Nograles, we can only surmise that he has some (information) about these cases that perhaps he can share with us,” he added. – Cecille Suerte Felipe, Sheila Laude
