Shabu maker meted 20-year jail term

-

MANILA, Philippines - The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said it has won its case against a drug dealer arrested in 2003 after the Tanauan City, Batangas regional trial court sentenced him to 20 years in jail for operating a shabu laboratory.

According to the NBI, Judge Hermenegildo Lacap of Tanauan RTC Branch 83 found Luisito Enumerable guilty of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and also ordered him to pay a fine of P500,000.

NBI operatives were serving an arrest warrant against Enumerable for another criminal case when they stumbled upon a clandestine shabu lab in his house in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

They also discovered finished shabu in a Honda CRV at his garage. – Sandy Araneta
