Abducted Chinese trader still alive - AFP

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – The military believes that the Chinese businessman abducted in Jolo, Sulu last Dec. 13 is still alive.

Thus said 1Lt. Steffani Cacho, spokesman of the Armed Forces’ Western Mindanao Command, disputing reports that trader Xili Wu, 28, alias Peter Go, was executed by his Abu Sayyaf captors less than a week after three workers of the International Committee of the Red Cross were seized. – Roel Pareño
