LUCENA CITY, Philippines – A 42-year-old father was jailed after allegedly raping his four daughters aged four to 17 while inside their house in Barangay Silangang Mayao, police said.
Senior Inspector Liza Aquino, Women’s and Children’s desk officer in Lucena police station identified the suspect as Porfirio Dalida.
Aquino said Dalida started raping his daughters (not their real names) Marah, 17; Lyka, 12; Rosel, nine and Renzy, four while his wife was out of the house working.
Police said Dalida allegedly raped Lyka when she was six years old and subsequently followed by the other siblings.
Probers said the crime was only discovered when Lyka and Rosel confided to their school principal in Hermana Fausta Elementary School, who in turn, reported the incident to the police authorities.
