German tourist found dead in Pampanga
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A German national was found dead by police authorities Wednesday inside his house in Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City.
Senior Superintendent Pierre Bucsit, Angeles City police director, identified the victim as Bernd Diefenbacher, 59, a German tourist and temporarily residing at No. 75 Makiling Street, Plaridel Subdivision, Barangay Malabanias.
Bucsit said a friend of the victim identified as Siefried Wittman, 61, also a German tourist, who stays at America Hotel in Barangay Malabanias sought the assistance of police after he failed to see or contact Diefenbacher.
PO3 Romeo Amarillo and PO3 Joven Rodriguez assisted Wittman to the residence of the victim and were shocked when they found him (victim) half-naked lying face down on the floor. – Ric Sapnu
