CIDG-4A adjudged best in 2008

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Due to their exemplary accomplishments and outstanding performances in terms of crime solution efficiency, and dismantling several criminal groups including the RCBC bank massacre on May 16, 2008, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group 4A was chosen as the Best Regional Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit for the year 2008, during the CIDG 56th Foundation Anniversary in Camp Crame.

Philippine National Police chief Director General Jesus Verzosa, and Chief Superintendent Raul Castañeda, CIDG director, awarded a plaque of recognition to Senior Superintendent Christopher Laxa, Calabarzon-CIDG regional director during yesterday’s flag-raising ceremony.

The Calabarzon-CIDG also bagged two categories for Best RCIDU in Oplan “Salikop and Oplan Paglalansag Omega” while Senior Superintendent Joel Orduna received a plaque of recognition for Best Special Operation Division for the year 2008. – Ed Amoroso
