Former President Joseph Estrada will be the guest speaker of the 77th year anniversary of the Negros Press Club in Bacolod on Oct. 19.
In a telephone interview, Estrada said he will also address the members and officers of the Sugar Planters in Bacolod.
“They invited me to be their guest speaker. The Negros Press Club is turning 77 years,” Estrada said.
Estrada, who started conducting his rounds immediately after he was pardoned by President Arroyo in October last year, will stay in Bacolod until Oct. 20.
He is also set to visit the officials in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, including among others former Ilocos Norte governor Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., on Oct. 23. – Jose Rodel Clapano
