Tesda exec gunned down in Zambo City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Police are hunting down a lone assassin who killed an official of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) north of this city last Thursday.

Police said Arnold Pimentel, officer-in-charge of the TESDA administration training center in Barangay San Roque here, was talking with an unidentified woman in front of his office at around 7:45 a.m. when the motorcycle-riding assassin fired at him.

Pimentel, who sustained a lone gunshot wound in the back of the head, was rushed to the nearby Western Mindanao Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physicians.     – Roel Pareño
