Three NPA leaders fall in Quezon

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Three New People’s Army (NPA) leaders facing multiple criminal charges were captured in an operation in Atimonan, Quezon Tuesday morning, police said.

Senior Inspector Pamela Helaga, spokesman of the Calabarzon police, identified those arrested as Gemma Carag, alias Ka Morga; Noel Santos, alias Ka Allen and Medel; and Cecilia Mondia, alias Ka Brenda, Catherine and Vince.

Helaga said Carag is the secretary of the NPA’s Guerrilla Front 42, while Santos holds the same post in the Guerrilla Front Gitnang Hilagang, Quezon. Mondia was tagged as a legal organizer of Grupong Pang-Organisa.
