2 suspects in coed’s rape arrested in Laguna
CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Two of the four principal suspects in the gang-rape of a 17-year-old high school student two years ago in Calamba City, were arrested by police authorities, report said.

Laxa said the rape victim’s mother, accompanied by reporters, went straight to the office of Superintendent Flaviano Baltazar and asked for police assistance. She was presented a copy of the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Alberto Serrano, of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 92,
The victim’s mother hinted that the case of her daughter might be ‘whitewashed’ due to the reported strong connection of the relatives and family of the suspects.
