Soldiers, police honored
Army Lt. Col. Ricardo Santiago and Maj. Rolando Rodil, commanders of the 10th Infantry Division’s 27th Infantry Battalion and 25th Infantry Battalion, respectively, personally received from the President earlier this week their plaques of appreciation for their achievement.
Rodil was also cited for leading the operation in the capture of Indonesian national Mohammad Baehaque, a suspected leader of the Al-Qaeda-linked Jemaah Islamiyah international terrorist network in Banaybanay, Davao Oriental on Feb. 17. – Edith Regalado
