PAF man killed in Lipa ambush

LIPA CITY – A 30-year-old Air Force sergeant was killed when two armed men ambushed him while he was on his way home in this Batangas city Thursday night, police said.

Superintendent George Dadulo, Lipa City police chief, said the victim, Sgt. Bryan Templo, who was assigned to the Fernando Air Base here, was cruising Villa Africa Subdivision in Barangay Bolbok on his motorcycle when he was waylaid at around 6:15 p.m.

Templo, who had just come from practice shooting in the air base, was shot several times in the head and body with a caliber .45 pistol.

Dadulo said they have arrested two suspects in Templo’s killing in Lemery town. – Arnell Ozaeta
