Bataan eyes 1.5-M visitors in 3 years
The municipal government has allocated P9 million for the improvement of roads leading to the coastal villages, strong information campaigns and building of amenities for visitors.
Lorelly del Rosario, wife of Bagac Mayor Ramil and concurrent chair of the Bagac town Tourism Council, said the municipal government is embarking on massive rehabilitation of historical sites, development of three waterfalls and other nature’s trekking attractions for visitors.
Del Rosario said she is coordinating with Vicky Garcia, chairperson of the Bataan Tourism Council Foundation and the Department of Tourism to undertake exhaustive research and evaluation of the present tourist resources and facilities to lure 1.5 million tourists in three years.
