ZAMBOANGA CITY – At least two persons were killed while over a thousand residents were displaced when a fire hit a densely populated village in the island town of Siasi in Sulu Saturday afternoon, officials said.
About a dozen others were also injured in the fire that swept through Sitio North Laud in the town proper, razing houses, stores and a gasoline station. – Roel Pareño
