2 Digos radiomen escape slay try

DAVAO CITY – Two broadcasters in Digos City, the capital of Davao del Sur, survived an attempt on their lives yesterday when the gunman’s weapon conked out, reports said.

The two radiomen were identified as Marlan Malnegro, 31, and Ruben Oliverio of dxUM Radyo Ukay.

The attacker reportedly first shot but missed Malnegro, who also reportedly works at the media affairs office of Digos City Mayor Arsenio Latasa.   – Edith Regalado
