Roxas: Palace should 'come clean' on public funds
October 19, 2007 | 9:44am
Sen. Manuel Roxas II said that Malacañang should 'come clean' on the unliquidated and unaccounted fund in 2006 totaling hundreds of millions of pesos.
"I acknowledge humanitarian use of such funds under the law, but I urge transparency to preclude politically-motivated spending," Roxas said.
Records show that in 2006, the office of the President has P 165.3 million in unliquidated cash advances which should have been compelled to be liquidated.
