ASG supporting candidates in Basilan barangay polls

ZAMBOANGA City - The military is checking information that the Abu Sayyaf group is supporting some candidates in the coming sychronized barangay and Kabataan elections.

This came after reports from a local official in Basilan revealed that the Abu Sayyaf are tapping  the village leaders that would shelter them once they are in position.
