Charlie "Atong" Ang is seeking permission from the Sandiganbayan to allow him to travel to Cambodia in order to work as a consultant for a company.
Ang who is a close friend of convicted president Joseph Estrada was brought home to the country last year after being extradicted from the United States as co-accused in the plunder crime of the former president.
He was allowed bail this year after agreeing to a plea bargain.
