The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) on Saturday condemned the perpetrators of the latest blasts in Kidapawan City that already claimed the lives of two persons and wounding 25 others.
"The followers of darkness have again struck and shown their total disregard for the lives of innocent men and women," the MILF statement said.
Khaled Musa, speaking for the MILF Central Committee, called the perpetrators as cowards and senseless and urged all and sundry to help one another to identify the real perpetrators and spare the innocent.
Musa also urged the police and the military not conduct witch-hunting by apprehending anyone and make them confess to the crime.
The two explosive devices went off around 6:00 last night, October 5. The initial report said the bomb-busted store was Survive Marketing only to be corrected later that hit was Imperial Building in downtown Kidapawan City.
Most of the victims were college students.
One of the fatalities was an eight-old fruit vendor, who was still unidentified as of press time.
