Malcanang invoked monday president Gloria Arroyo's executive order 464 for government and military officials not ot appear before a senate inquiry on wiretapping.
Military and defense officials were invited to give their side. Also invited were press secretary Ignacio Bunye and national security secretary Norberto Gonzales. Bunye and national defense secretary Gilbert Teodoro hand both invoked executive privilege in letters to the senate.
