1 killed, 4 wounded in bus bombing in Koronadal

MANILA (AP) - A bomb ripped through a passenger bus parked in a crowded terminal in Mindanao on Friday, killing one passenger and wounding four others, police said.

The blast inside the bus was the second incident involving the Yellow Bus Line in southern Koronadal City. Last month, a bomb exploded inside one of the company's buses parked in the same terminal, wounding one passenger.

Police Senior Supt. Roberto Kiunisala said the attack is suspected to be linked to attempts by a criminal gang to extort money from the bus owners.
