SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – The owner of the motorcycle used in killing a school principal in Bagulin, La Union in September 2005 was arrested over the weekend after he was caught firing a gun indiscriminately.
La Union police director Senior Superintendent. Franklin Bucayu identified the suspect as Alvin Cambal, 29, a resident of Bimmotobot, Naguilian, La Union.
Bucayu said Cambal provided his motorcycle to the two unidentified suspects who killed Serapio Dacucuy, principal of the Cambaly National High School.
Albert Wallit, an employee of the Department of Agrarian Reform, was also wounded in the incident.

Cambal’s mother Pepita , filed the case against the police officials after her son allegedly went missing when he was taken into police custody after Dacuycuy’s murder.
Pepita asked the court to issue a writ of habeas corpus to order the police officials to produce the body of his son.
