Oil prices edge higher ahead of US inventory data

A fire ravaged the seven-story Philippine President Lines building Wednesday along the corner of United Nations Avenue and San Marcelino Street in Ermita, Manila.

Firefighters tried to control the blaze, which first started past 4 a.m. and reached the highest alarm level. 

Firetrucks of the Bureau of Fire Protection from all over Manila, as well as Chinese volunteer firetrucks were sent in to help quell the fire.

Authorities have not reported any casualties in the incident.
