KABUL (AFP) - A suicide bomb that ripped through the center of Afghanistan's eastern town of Gardez on Sunday killed 10 Afghan civilians and wounded 30, the interior ministry said, raising earlier tolls.
"It is with great grief that we received information that at 9:40 (0510 GMT) this morning a suicide bomber with explosives strapped to his body blew himself up in Gardez city," it said in a statement.
"As a result 10 of our civilian countrymen were martyred and 30 others were wounded."
