As one of the lead agencies in the 250-vehicle mission, the Pagcor contingent traveled from Pasay City to Albay with six trucks carrying food, medicine and potable water.
In Legazpi City, Pagcor turned over a total of 1,000 blankets and about 5,000 packs containing rice, noodles, and sardines to the provincial officials of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The relief goods were for equal distribution among the calamity victims in Albay, Catanduanes, and Sorsogon.
Meanwhile, the Serbisyo Muna! medical team conducted free medical consultations in two evacuation sites: the Bitano Elementary School and Ibalong Centrum for Recreation in Barangay Bitano, Legazpi City.
Most of those who were treated were diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection due to crowding in the evacuation centers. There were also cases of diarrhea due to contaminated water supply.
