Top rebel leader in Central Luzon captured in Bataan

SAMAL, Bataan A top ranking leader of the communist break-away group of the Rebolusyunariong Hukbong Bayan (RHB) who carries a P400,000 reward for his capture dead or alive was nabbed in a secluded house in Sitio Daang Mestizo, Barangay West Daang Bago, this town, Wednesday afternoon.
Chief Inspector Luisito Magnaye, Bataan police head of Intelligence and Investigation Branch (IIB) identified the rebel leader as Rafael Limcumpao, 48, alias Ka Jeeboy/ Pakoy/ Gemo, of Barangay Burgos, Pilar town, this province, who was cornered by combined police teams from the Bataan police and Police Regional Command from Camp Olivas, San Fernando City, Pampanga while reportedly conducting teach-in at about 12:35 Wednesday afternoon.
Limcumpao, a brother of former Pilar town vice mayor, is the secretary of the Marxist-Leninist Party of the Philippines/RHB and head of the Manila Bay Coastal Wide Area Front Committee and ranked number nine most wanted person in Central Luzon.
