2 feuding Tausog clans settle row

SHARIFF AGUAK, Maguindanao Members of two feuding Tausog clans, locked in a two-year, bloody war that had caused the deaths of more than 30 people on each side, have smoked the proverbial peace pipe.
The families of Mayor Wahid Sahidullah of Tongkil, an island town in Sulu, and Maling Okang agreed to sign the truce pact the other day, ending the long-time animosity between them.
Lawyer Oscar Sampulna, executive secretary of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, said Sahidullah and Okang both agreed to reconcile through the intercession of ARMM Gov. Datu Zaldy Ampatuan.
