Lawmaker’s driver slain

CAMP DIEGO SILANG, Ilocos Sur — The driver of La Union Rep. Tomas Dumpit Sr. was gunned down inside the lawmaker’s house in Naguilian, La Union yesterday afternoon, police said.

The victim, Armin Mato, 38, was one of the eight accused, including Dumpit, in the killing of Bauang election registrar Felimon Asperin Jr. last Jan. 12. — Jun Elias
