Ex-soldier tagged in bank rob

A former Army soldier-turned-security guard was one of three men arrested by agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group for the Aug. 22 heist in an East-West Bank branch in Calamba City, Laguna.
Philippine National Police chief Director Oscar Calderon said former soldier Ralph Canaya and fellow security guards Peter Tagalogon and Randel Monares were arrested in a series of police operations in Manila, Laguna and Quezon.
Calderon said more than P4 million of the over P8 million they had taken from the bank was recovered.
Another suspect, Marvin Pura, is now the subject of a manhunt. Jaime Laude
