GMA inaugurates P2.03-B Cagayan de Oro infra projects

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY President Arroyo unveils a landmark P2.035 billion worth of infrastructure projects in simple ceremonies here yesterday.
Among the projects is a 8.7-kilometer diversion road that will connect Barangay Bula to the airport, passing through the SM Mega Mall.
The SM City-Bulua Road will be called the Macapagal Drive.
Mrs. Arroyo also turned over 11 police cars to the PNP Police Regional Office-10, which is expected to enhance the capability of the police force in combating lawless elements and terrorist groups operating in the region.
Mayor Vicente Emano said the Presidents visit coincided with the city fiesta and the President had the opportunity to watch the Lambagohan Festivals fluvial parade at the Cagayan de Oro River.
Mrs. Arroyo also turned over P5 million to the Department of Education to fund the education of deserving indigent school children in private schools. Richel Umel, Mike Baños
