Quezon statue unveiled in Baler

BALER, Aurora Sen. Edgardo Angara led local officials in yesterdays unveiling of a 230-kilo bronze statue of the late President Manuel L. Quezon as part of the commemoration of his 128th birth anniversary, in this capital towns plaza.
"Im very happy that he is remembered in his hometown. Im proud to be his daughter," said Quezons daughter Zenaida Avanceña, who was accompanied by her son Enrique.
