PDEA agent killed, 2 hurt in buy-bust

DAGUPAN CITY A female agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) was killed while her colleague and a tricycle driver were wounded during a drug buy-bust here the other day.
Slain was Clara Aquino, 41, who was shot in the chest, and wounded were Paul Pestelos, a non-uniformed personnel of PDEA-Cordillera, and tricycle driver Jerwin Bucao, who was caught in the crossfire.
Police said two armed men appeared and fired at the PDEA agents as they entrapped drug suspects Sihawe Makatoman and Malik Ampuan in a buy-bust in Barangay Bonuan Binloc. The two were arrested, while their three cohorts managed to escape. Eva Visperas, Cesar Ramirez
