Ilocos mayor hunted for cops killing

BADOC, Ilocos Norte The mayor of this southernmost Ilocos Norte town is being sought for allegedly fatally shooting a policeman, who once served as his bodyguard, last Saturday.
Eyewitnesses tagged second-termer Mayor Tomas Torralba as the one who gunned down SPO1 Alex Dacosa during a wake.
Torralba was with a group identified with Vice Mayor Glenn Cajigal when the mayor, followed by his bodyguards, arrived.
Torralba and Dacosa reportedly had a verbal tussle, afterwhich the mayor allegedly drew his caliber .45 pistol and shot the policeman several times. Teddy Molina
