Dagupan’s most wanted falls

-
SAN CARLOS CITY, Pangasinan — National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents arrested the other day Dagupan City’s most wanted person in Barangay Tamayo here.

Lawyer Jose Doloiras, NBI Director in Pangasinan, told The STAR that Rodel de Guzman, alias Itiw, barely in his 20s, was nabbed by virtue of a warrant of arrest.

De Guzman was among the suspects in the killing of former Tambac, Malasiqui Barangay Captain Leonides Bulatao on Dec. 15, 2003. Bulatao was slain in front of the town hall in Malasiqui.

De Guzman has pending cases of murder, frustrated murder and illegal possession of firearms. He was involved in a fistfight in previous days and a tipster relayed his whereabouts to the NBI. Eva Visperas
