Suspect in judge’s slay tagged in rob

-
The 25-year-old alleged gunman in the killing of Pasay City Judge Henrick Gingoyon is also a suspect in a robbery in a Cavite bakery where goods worth P96,000 were carted away, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said.

NBI regional director Reynaldo Esmeralda, who heads the bureau’s Special Task Force, said suspect Rodolfo Cuer reportedly figured in the robbery at the Dianne Rose Bakery in Green Valley Subdivision in Bacoor, Cavite 28 days before Gingoyon’s murder.

Esmeralda said Cuer, together with six others, is facing charges for that robbery with the Cavite provincial prosecutor’s office.

According to the NBI, Cuer might have also been involved in the murder of Japanese national Yuhara Tsutomo who was gunned down outside his house in Las Piñas City last November.

Esmeralda said Cuer and five other suspects in the Gingoyon killing — Sahid Sulaiman, Mark Datas, Efren Samonte, Felimon Rabino and Rudy Baclor — are detained at the Cavite provincial police command.

The NBI is still looking for the mastermind in the judge’s killing.

Gingoyon, 53, was gunned down last Dec. 31 some 300 meters from his residence in Molino, Cavite. Evelyn Macairan
