Thus said Superintendent Edgar Wycoco, younger brother of National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) director Reynaldo Wycoco who died Monday after three weeks in coma due to a severe stroke.
The younger Wycoco said more than the loss of his idol kuya, the family also lost the "kindest" member of the Wycoco brood who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
"Nawalan kami ng pinakamabait at pinakamamahal na kapatid (We lost our kindest and most beloved brother). He was the one who guided me in all that I did," Edgar said of his departed brother.
He said the family might put up a foundation to preserve his brothers legacy.
Here, Wycocos townmates are in a state of mourning over the loss of one of their illustrious sons.
Former mayoral bet and businesswoman Abundia Garcia, founder of the Sister Biding Foundation, said they will hear Mass in Barangay Palasinan today to pray for the late NBI chief.
The group, which has 15,000 members, held a prayer vigil when Wycoco fell into a coma last month.
